Remembering Keith

Remembering Keith: a festive wake

Sunday, June 25, 1:00-4:00 PM (Mountain Time)

The Pumphouse Theatre in Calgary, Alberta

The Pumphouse is the original home of The Loose Moose Theatre, the company Johnstone co-founded in 1977.

If you'd like to attend this celebration in person, registration is required. Due to Keith's far-reaching impact on so many people, we are unsure of what to expect in terms of numbers and need to ensure the venue can safely accommodate all who wish to attend in person. Therefore, we kindly request you register as soon as possible.

If you cannot attend in person, "Remembering Keith" will be livestreamed with conjunctive celebrations happening in Brazil and, we hope, in London. Also, we are generating ideas on digital ways to actively include Johnstonians and impro-inspired theatres and makers all over the world.

If you will be traveling from out of town, book accommodations as soon as possible given the Calgary Stampede is happening the second week of July and places book up weeks in advance.

As we get closer to the event, more information will be posted on this page, so please check back regularly!

Finally, please consider donating to the "Celebrating the Life of Keith Johnstone" GoFundMe campaign. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference and allow us to produce an event worthy of our patron saint of impro. All donors will be properly thanked in the video tribute.
